ITAgency e Clipper
A Journey into the World of Tobacco and Creativity
I started my graphic design journey at Clipper in June 2023. Despite having some self-doubt due to my limited experience, I was excited about the opportunity to work for such a renowned company.
I knew that this role would challenge me to grow both personally and professionally. So, you can imagine my surprise when I was contacted after applying through LinkedIn and was offered a position, starting as an intern and then transitioning to a full-time contract.
The Experience
Professional Growth and Skills Acquired
Working for Clipper, under the management of ITAgency, allowed me to significantly consolidate and expand my skills. In addition to strengthening my abilities in advertising and graphic design, I developed projects in packaging design and merchandising design. The creative freedom granted to me enabled me to greatly enhance my knowledge of Adobe suite programs and my practical and conceptual graphic skills.
Moreover, I explored other graphic-related programs, integrating a touch of artificial intelligence (Blender, CapCut, Open Art, ChatGPT, Canva). For internal company communication, given the company’s size and nature, I used programs for collective task management and organization (Microsoft Teams, Monday, Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Zoom). Finally, I employed tools for organizing and storing various graphic materials (FileMaker, Google Drive, OneDrive, Mega, WeTransfer).
Interaction with Professionals and Brands
Thanks to multiple business trips, I had the opportunity to meet professionals and experts from various sectors related to tobacco, lighters, fashion, graphic design, and packaging design. I also had the chance to interact with high-caliber brands and brand ambassadors to prepare high-level Clipper graphic collections (DollyNoire, Windrose, La Gazzetta dello Sport, Octopus, Panini, Hello Spank, Holly and Benji, Fiorentina Calcio), as well as collaborate with influencers and Instagram pages like Insulti Luminosi, N.ooo.X, and Eccellenza Italiana.
Collaboration with Other Brands
In addition to working directly as a graphic designer for Clipper (and indirectly with MY-Clipper), I also collaborated with other brands managed by ITAgency, such as Gizeh, Ciao, Tecno Distributori, Dinner Lady, FYUL, HYLA, ZOE, S.T. Dupont, DonneMann, and others.
Personal Growth and Recognition
This experience also allowed me to grow on a personal level, developing a greater awareness of my surroundings both professionally and outside of work. I am very grateful to the people who mentored and guided me, especially Massimo Mazzariol, who not only served as my work mentor but also supported me like an older brother.
In conclusion, my collaboration with ITAgency and Clipper has been extremely rewarding and formative. It allowed me to work on stimulating projects and contribute to the success of a global brand, enriching my portfolio and strengthening my skills for future challenges in the world of design and marketing.
